About the faculty
The Faculty of Architecture runs three programmes at Danang Architecture University: Architecture (7580101), Regional and Urban Planning (7580105) and Graphic Design (7210403).
The Architecture programme was first offered in 2006, has been fully credit-based since 2019 and is quality-accredited. It includes 10 studio projects and a graduation project, building design skills from site planning to buildings, combined with digital tools and a focus on green design.
Outside class, students join workshops with practising architects, heritage sketching trips, field study placements in many cities and national and international architecture competitions.

Mission
To train architects, planning architects and graphic designers who are creative, skilled in practice and responsible to the community; to link teaching with professional practice, applied research and the preservation of local architectural identity, contributing to Danang Architecture University's mission of training high-quality human resources ready for international integration.
Vision to 2030
To become a respected, application-oriented centre for architecture, planning and graphic design education, mastering digital design tools and green design, and growing with the University into a smart university.
Organisational structure
Faculty Board
The Dean and Vice Deans lead the faculty's teaching, research and partnerships.
Department of Architecture and Planning
Responsible for the architectural design, planning and studio courses of the Architecture and Regional and Urban Planning programmes.
Department of Graphic Design
Responsible for the Graphic Design programme: branding, publications, packaging, illustration, digital design and motion design.
Faculty Office
Handles academic administration, student affairs and student applications and requests; the faculty's point of contact for students, parents and businesses.
Youth Union and Student Association
Organises student movements, academic clubs and volunteer activities for the faculty's students.

2006
First Architecture intake
The Architecture programme was launched in the same year Danang Architecture University was founded.
2019
Move to credit-based training
The Architecture programme switched fully from the year-based system to credits.
02/2023
Architecture programme accredited
The Architecture programme was certified by the Center for Education Accreditation – The University of Da Nang as meeting the education quality standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, with 86% of criteria satisfied.
08/2024
Graphic Design programme accredited
The Graphic Design programme was certified by the Thang Long Centre for Education Accreditation as meeting the education quality standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, with 88% of criteria satisfied.
10/2025
Four Loa Thanh awards
Three third prizes and one honourable mention for graduation projects at the 2025 Loa Thanh Awards.
09/2026
Two awards at AIAC 2026
Students won a third prize and an honourable mention at the AIAC 2026 international architecture design workshop.
